The feral pigeon is found throughout Britain and can be found nesting in urban and rural environments. Feral pigeons tend to scavenge food and can be found at food premises, docks and mills. In urban environments they are encouraged by members of the public who feed them with birdseed and bread.

How do we control pigeons?
Nesting pigeons can cause a build-up of fouling, which in turn can cause a health and safety issue. We remove all pigeon fouling and nesting debris and then spray the area with a biocide to eliminate bacteria, viruses and fungus associated with pigeon fouling.
Various methods of control for this species are allowed by law, these include all humane methods such as netting and anti-perch spikes as well as fire gel systems.
